ANNOUNCING THE 2nd GLOBAL VILLAGE NETWORK REUNION

We are happy to announce the 2nd Global Village Network Reunion, which will take place Peru from August 16th, 2007 to August 23th, 2007.

All Global Village Alumni and their families, Global Village executives and facilitators, and Iacocca Institute staff are invited to join us for a week of networking, business sessions, cultural and ethnic experiences, a taste of one of the best gastronomies in the world and tones of fun.

This will be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for so long to gather with some of your old friends that you haven’t seen since Global Village. Time to meet with new people who have already gone through Global Village experience and have so much in common with you.

This will be a chance to have a great vacation as well as a chance to network and talk business with your fellow alumni.

Just remember all the people you have spent time with at Global Village and how hard it was to leave them all behind on the last day of the program.

Don't you think it has been long enough since you have been with your GV friends?

Join us in Peru and get a chance to come together with your old friends and meet with new ones whom you will feel like you have known for years.

It's again GLOBAL VILLAGE time!
It’s time to meet!

It’s time to dance!

A TASTE OF THE PROGRAM
Dates - August 16th 2008 to August 23th 2008 (Saturday to Saturday)

· Land and breath the air of the great City of Kings (“Ciudad de los Reyes”) also known as Lima (some people say its name means yellow flower), Capital and the largest city of the Republic of Peru.

. Enjoy cultural activities, such as the Peruvian Paso Horse Show (an exclusive Peruvian breed) or the Marinera Show (Exclusive Peruvian dance. A graceful and romantic couple's dance).

· Enhace your business and negociation habilities and skills during the business sessions while discussing with fellow villagers, business experts and business men and women for the city.

· Empower people in need of a better life by your coperation in the task of building a nursery for kids in extreme proverty.

· Taste one of the bests gastronomies in the world. Thanks to its pre-Inca and Inca heritage and to Spanish, Basque, African, Sino-Cantonese, Japanese and finally Italian, French and British immigration (mainly throughout the 19th century), Peruvian cuisine combines the flavors of four continents.

· Land and feel the energies of the Impereal City (“Ciudad Imperial”) known as the City of Incas. A city with major Inca history.

· Taste the original Coca tea (“mate de coca”) which has been used by indigenous tribes for medicinal and religious purposes. The consumption of Coca tea, as well as chewing the leaves, increases the absorption of oxygen in blood, which helps combat altitude sickness, and has a marked digestive and carminative action.

· Live some exciting moments rafting down the river Vilnacota or just hang around the famous Pisac market where you can get familiar with the traditional artcrafting form the area.

· Let yourself go at Machu Piccu (Old Peak) often referred to as "The Lost City of the Incas". Machu Picchu is probably the most familiar symbol of the Inca Empire. It was built around the year 1450, but abandoned a hundred years later, at the time of the Spanish conquest of the Inca Empire.

SEMINARS

We wanted to have a real Global Village Experience, therefore we created some especial activities related to the business arena, networking and family quality time. The following are some of them:

· Ice breaking game on the first night: do not worry this time won’t be more wood-breaking with the forehead. Nevertheless, exposure is confirmed!

· Conferences at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas: We’ll discuss with business experts themes related to management, marketing and business development.

· Presentation of the program Global Village and of the GVN: we all want to share the pride of being a Villager and take the advantages of being one of them!

· GVN Entrepreneurs night: the perfect time to introduce your business and look for connections.

· GVN and local Entrepreneurs session: looking for local partners or experiences??? This will be the right place and the right time to meet them!
